Solenoid Valve

SV08-23 Seat Valve, 2-Way, Normally Open

Description

Electrically operated, 2-way, seat-type, normally open, hydraulic threaded cartridge valve designed for load-holding applications requiring low leakage.

Operating Principle

When de-energized, the spool of the SV08-23 lifts, allowing fluid to flow from 2 to 1. Simultaneously, fluid also flows from 1 to 2.

When energized, the cartridge acts as a check valve, allowing fluid to flow from 1 to 2 after overcoming the solenoid force (required pressure is 3.4 to 10.3 bar [50 to 150 psi]), while blocking flow from 2 to 1.

Emergency Manual Override Operation: To perform emergency operation, press and hold the emergency button.
